About This Course
This course covers the responsibilities of waste generators and transport and disposal firms under Japan’s Waste Management and Public Cleansing Act, with special emphasis on outsourcing the treatment of hazardous wastes. It also covers Specially Controlled Industrial Waste (SCIW), PCB waste, PFOS, and the records each generator must keep to comply with Japanese waste laws.
